User Experience Designer
About the Role
User Experience (UX) Designers create digital products and services, using a human-centred approach, to develop the best solutions for the user at every stage of the product life-cycle. They translate product goals, user insights, and technical constraints into practical, enjoyable, and user-friendly websites and Apps. UX designers work closely with product teams, researchers, and developers, promoting the easiest and most intuitive design for the end user and devising solutions to anticipated problems throughout the design process. They create wireframes and prototypes. to test interactions, mapping out end-to-end user journeys and identifying areas of opportunity to iterate and refine the user experience.

Salary Expectations: $105,000 – $160,000
Qualifications, Training, Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in a UX-related field (e.g., human-computer interaction, human factors, behavioural research, or graphic design).
Knowledge & Capabilities
Knowledge of modern and emerging web and mobile UI patterns and design tools (such as Sketch, Invision, XD, and Adobe CC, Figma).
Experience in building detailed user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and click-through prototypes.
Understanding of how design translates to code.
Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative user research, using insights to inform design solutions.
Lead with a Design-thinking mindset when working in cross-functional teams.
Experience with design research tools (Google Analytics, New Relic, Hotjar, etc).
Leveraging site analytics to identify opportunities to improve the site experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with natural ability to articulate and defend design decisions, and run work sessions.
