Sales Development Representative
About the Role
A Sales Development Representative is responsible for making outbound sales, reaching out to clients to obtain leads and follow up for the sales team. They investigate potential clients, identify key players, and generate interest to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities. They respond to inbound leads then pass on to sales and marketing management.
Key Industries for employment opportunities are: Marketing & Advertising, Wholesale Trade, Retail Trade, Manufacturing.
Salary Expectation: $60,000 (average annual salary)
Qualifications, Training, Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing, or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
Knowledge & Capabilities
Developing sales strategy plans (roadmap).
Able to move solid leads throughout the sales process with disciplined negotiation skills.
Product knowledge.
Ability to research potential buyers, reach out (cold calling) and create new opportunities.
Great verbal and written communication.
Strong problem solving, organisational, interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Able to gain excellent understanding of business prospects, challenges and current priorities.
Social selling – up to date on latest social media trends & technologies.
