Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Digital Marketing Specialists use digital media to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of a company’s services and products. They specialise in creating marketing campaigns and increasing brand awareness. After campaigns are launched they extract and analyse data across multiple channels.

This role may be involved in coordinating email campaigns and using analytics programs to track website visitors.

Salary Expectation: $75,000 to $85,000

Qualifications, Training, Licenses

Qualifications can be in business or marketing, specialising in digital marketing
(industry recognised certificates or diplomas).

VET qualifications are available.

Joining a professional body is helpful (e.g. AMI).

Entry to this occupation may be improved if you have a degree in business, communications or commerce with a major in marketing.

Knowledge & Capabilities

Performing business analysis.

Understanding client requirements and generating leads.

Conducting competitive research and staying up to date with current market trends.

Developing and analysing digital marketing strategies.

Creating/implementing search engine optimisation (SEO).

Designing a social media content strategy, updating social media pages and building social media presence.

Email marketing campaigns.

Excellent organisational skills with high standard written and verbal communications.

Ability to identify, resolve problems and complete tasks with a strong attention to detail.
