Meet Our Managers

Sophia Symeou, CEO

CEO of INS, Sophia Symeou, is the driving force behind the company’s success. She has extensive experience in both the public and private sector. In fact, Sophia created Australia’s first in-house public service HR consultancy service. In her years at INS, she has helped organisations achieve multi-million-dollar savings. Adam Aaron, Learning and Development Manager

Adam is a ‘Bartie’ award-winning writer who combines principles of storytelling with his extensive experience in Learning and Development to design and deliver highly engaging training. Driven by creating change in participants and delivering outcomes for organisations, Adam’s Learning and Development programs have been instrumental in facilitating major restructures and organisational transformations. His design and implementation of the Australian first Mobility Project resulted in INS being finalists at the Australian Learning Impact Awards and Adam being selected as one of 2 finalist for “Learning and Development Professional of the Year” at the Australian Institute of Training and Development.

Laura Fisher, Coaching Manager

Resourceful and solution-focused, Laura has global experience across government, private and not for profit organisations. A qualified psychotherapist, Laura is heavily involved in designing our highly effective coaching methodologies. She has developed and delivered coaching and action learning programs for INS workshops that promote and embed learning into the workplace and individual’s lives. Laura was instrumental in establishing the INS Assessment Centre and overseeing the design of targeted assessment practices for INS clients.

Elizabeth Fletcher, Principal Consultant

Elizabeth is highly experienced in engaging and developing leaders, shaping organisational culture and designing workplaces that enable people to thrive.

Elizabeth’s theoretical and practical understanding of capability frameworks nationally and internationally, is unparalleled. She has broad HR experience, with extensive knowledge of industrial and employment law and policy. Elizabeth was one of the 3 leads on the NSW government team that developed the Government’s Pay Equity case and has a deep understanding of EEO and, diversity and inclusion issues.

Symone Catalano, Support Services Manager

Symone is a vital part of the operations at INS and is a well-respected supervisor and manager. She has sound experience in retail customer service excellence and commercial office administration. Symone epitomises INS values with her warm and grounded approach to people and business practices. Symone has been with INS since day one and has streamlined internal processes to provide strong support to our teams and clients. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to facilitate positive experiences for everyone who comes through our doors, enabling a productive and harmonious work environment for our staff, clients and their teams.

Leo Zhang, IT Support Officer

Leo is a customer focused IT Support Officer who supports, manages and resolves operational IT issues ensuring the security and integrity of computer operations. Working extensively with clients from the public and private sectors, Leo troubleshoots technical issues, demonstrating a friendly and collaborative approach. His vast technical knowledge, expertise and ability to work under pressure has enabled INS to deliver critical projects in an environment of conflicting demands.
